How is Made

1 - The Ingredients

Each Cookie Bread (Cozonac) has the following ingredients: high quality flour, butter, eggs, fresh yeast, milk, sugar, flavour (rum / vanilla), and stuffing.

2 - The Beginning

The flour is mixed with warm milk, sugar, and eggs yolk. The mixture is placed in the mixing machine for 1 hour. While the dough is mixed, butter is added in small amounts.

3 - The Dough

After one hour of mixing, the dough is placed to rest for 30 minutes, meanwhile the stuffing is prepared.

4 - The Stuffing

Here, an extra flavour and taste is selected. It can be from a range of mixed ingredients like: cocoa, turkish delights, raising, walnuts, rum / vanilla / orange flavour.

5 - Dough Layers

Dough’s rested. Next, two even sheets of dough is prepared. The stuffing is added on top, evenly spreaded. Each dough sheet is rolled into a single roll. The two are entangled eachother into a bread like form.

6 - The Final Step

At this point the unbaked Cookie Bread is placed in the baking glass container for another 30 minute of rest at a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees. After that is ready to be placed in the pre-heated owen at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Delivery is done on the next day in Dublin after the order is placed, and outside Dublin within 3 days with DPD, or other courier service. Delivery Prices are: Dublin €9.50, Outside Dublin €19.50.
